Hi, I’m Kim — a Bendigo newborn, maternity and family photographer.

I’m a girl mum, part-time Art teacher and lifestyle photographer with over 15 years in experience in the industry. I love capturing relaxed, natural moments for families across Bendigo.

My journey into photography began when I was still in high school. If you speak to anyone who knew me back then, they’ll tell you all about my obsession with photos! I borrowed my Dad’s old Ricoh camera, took every photography class I could, and begged for film, photo albums, frames and prints for every birthday and Christmas.
This love of photography carried me through to university where I studied photography and photojournalism. After completing my course I shot anything and everything. Weddings, families, new homes (which I still dabble in), kinder and santa photos you name it I’ve probably given it a go. I learned so much from all these experiences and most importantly I learned what I love to shoot the most!
After being blessed with some gorgeous nieces and my first daughter’s arrival my love and passion for capturing beautiful babies grew and grew! During covid I had the dream of opening my own photography studio and with a lot more time on my hands I was able to make that dream a reality. I opened my first photography studio three years ago and have loved every minute of it!
As well as my passion for God, Photography and my Gorgeous Family I also teach Art part time. I love kids and have the absolute pleasure of inspiring my little artists to express themselves creatively and see the potential in themselves! So don’t worry if you think your kiddos are a tricky bunch, as well as dealing with my own little pickles at home, I have definitely seen it all!
I would describe myself as a lifestyle photographer. For those of you new to photography terms, lifestyle photographers let moments happen and capture them, we give direction when needed and also make sure to capture a few smiling at the camera photos for grandma.
My beautiful studio is located in Bendigo, Victoria. However I’m definitely not confined to it, if you see yourself as more of an outdoor family or have a beautiful home you’d love to be captured in I’m more than happy to accommodate.
If my relaxed, natural approach sounds like the right fit for your family, I’d love to hear from you!
Kim.
